Stuart Newsham
Stuart left school in 1978 and took
an apprentiship with the West
Somerset Free Press. He left to take
employment with Protective Papers Ltd
then decided to change careers. Stuart
attended SCAT in Taunton on a 2 year full
time hairdressing course in 1984. Stuart decided
to concentrate on men’s hairdressing and took
self employment with Dave Bale in 1988 for
10 years. Stuart then joined Steve at The Barber Shop.

Steve studied his apprentiship in
1962 with Mr Stan Berry at Brook
Street, Alcombe, Fore Street Williton
and Doniford army camp. Steve left
Stan in 1966 and took employment
in Epson, London, Bromley and
Axminster in Devon before returning
to Alcombe in 1970.
