Stuart attended SCAT in Taunton on a two-year full-time hairdressing course in 1984 and went on to specialise in men’s hairdressing. He joined Bales — Dave Bale’s well-known gents’ hairdressers on Friday Street, Minehead — in 1988, spending ten years honing his skills before taking on The Barber Shop, where he has been welcoming clients ever since.
